Second Harvest Heartland
Capital Campaign

It’s truly the best when the work we do can also make the world a little better. That’s exactly what I was a part of doing when our team worked on Second Harvest Heartland’s Capital Campaign, a special program that fell outside of its usual fundraising efforts.

At a time when charitable gifting was at a historic low, we created a hopeful, engaging direct mail campaign directed at high-dollar donors. This campaign helped fund an all-new distribution facility to catch up to the ever-increasing need for resources for those facing food insecurity. The facility was fully funded and opened in 2020, a full year ahead of schedule.
